The Standard Flat-Rate Package

You get:

• Five to eight quality, color corrected, high-resolution pictures of your site
• Email updates for order acknowledgement, flight scheduling, and the actual flight.
• Fast, prompt, quality service
• Right to use these photos, but not to resell them
• Easy, flat-rate pricing.

You tell me the location you want photographed and how you want it photographed. A street address, a latitude/longitude location (like GPS), or directions to the site will work for the location description. You can specify the directions of the photos (facing north, facing south, etc) that you'd prefer. I'll give you those views, and a few others as well (just in case!).

You get an email acknowleding your order, one when your site's photo flight is scheduled, and another when the photos are completed. Then your email (if you choose) with the photos attached. You'll always know what's going on.

I work to be fast and responsive to your order. But unlike some types of photography I cannot control my lighting. Clouds, haze, adverse weather, and air pollution will affect what I can do and when I can do it.

Counties covered by the flat-rate service

The area that I cover in my flat-rate service is roughly 100 miles from Leesburg. However, it's easier to list the counties covered. Some smaller areas, especially nearer to Washington D.C., require specialized aircraft or pilots due to airspace limitations. Unfortunately, those areas will have a surcharge.

Photography Costs and Discounts

If you book more than one aerial photo order at a time you get a volume discount. All booked sites need to be in the flat-rate counties listed above. If you want the same site photographed at intervals and can book those orders at the same time, then these discounts also apply.

Outside the Flat-Rate Area

For sites outside the above counties, there's a travel surcharge of $0.50/mile over 100 miles from Leesburg airport in Leesburg VA (Loudoun county in northern Virginia). This travel surcharge is added to the above flat-rate charge per site. This only applies outside the above listed counties.

Other Photography Services

Archival-grade prints of photographs are available with the following schedule of prices. Photograph editing does not include routine processing which is part of the flat-rate package. Editing is useful for annotation, removing distracting features, and highlighting key features by adding graphics.
